The content in this textbook provides a learning experience to which Heritage language (HL) learners can relate growing and living in the U.S. The work in this project is intended to contribute to HL teaching, and its main goal is to engage and connect students with relevant materials and activities. The chapters also aim to expand students’ experience in language, linguistics, and cultural knowledge. Students will see results when putting into practice what they learn and will demonstrate their language skills into their creative and professional materials written in Spanish. This textbook has been created thanks to the OERizona Award (2024) and includes five chapters and supplemental materials.
